REAL ESTATE DOES NOT FEEL ‘FROZEN’

In the first nine months of 2021, the transaction volume and price of all types of real estate, despite fluctuations, remained basically stable.

The Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management (Ministry of Construction) said that in the first nine months of this year, the number and transaction prices of all types of real estate fluctuated due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, but the market did not. fall into a state of “freezing” or “hot fever”.

Also during this time, many mechanisms, policies and laws on real estate investment, construction and business were issued, helping to increase the supply to the market. Thanks to that, the phenomenon of local land price increases in the locality has been basically controlled.

In the first months of 2021, real estate businesses are still very actively clinging to the market, pushing liquidity even during the time of implementing social distancing through many forms such as introduction and online sales.

The trading floors also recorded a positive demand for people to buy houses, especially in cities with fast urbanization like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City…

Housing prices, especially in urban areas, tend to increase compared to the general income of people. Part of the reason is due to the increase in land prices in some localities and the sudden increase in the price of construction materials in recent years.

Facing this fact, a representative of the Housing and Real Estate Market Management Department said that the Ministry of Construction is continuing to study and review amendments to the Law on Housing, Law on Real Estate Business, Decree 117/2015/ND -CP on construction, management and use of information systems on housing and real estate market; research, submit for promulgation and well implement the National Housing Development Strategy to 2030 with a vision to 2040 to stabilize and balance housing supply.
